The team has been awarded 3 Tournament Champion awards, 1 Tournament excellence award, 1 Build award, 1 Service award and 1 Design award.The team has qualified for the world championship tournament in 3 of our 4 years of participation. This year the the world championships were held at the Anahiem Convention Center. Close to 500 teams were represented from around the world in a truly international event. In our division dubbed “Technology” the lancers finished 23rd out of 85 teams. La Salle was very competitive even with the misfortune of being teamed up with partner robots that were sadly ineffective in more than one qualification round. It should be noted that the world champion alliance of 3 robots came from the â€œTechnology” division.Robo FreshmenOn the service front La Salle Robotics has successfully completed two years of educational outreach to pass on the experience of robotics related building and programming to local 7th and 8th graders. We’ve been able to serve Barnhart School, St. Rita School, Sierra Madre Middle School, and St. Felicitas School. The students on La Salle’s Robotics Team live the motto, “Enter to Learn, Leave to Serve”.Preparations for next year are underway and we look forward to another very successful year. Perhaps even a world champion title.RoboLancers 2012-2013:Seniors• Brianna Barta• Liam Buchanan• Ryan Flynn• Robbie Hulbert• Andrew Lucas• Patricia Hernandez• Andres Quervo• Luke BolleJunior• Nathalie OjedaSophomores• Megan Mathison• Pauline Ma• Bea Tan• Ben Wong• Luis MelendezFreshmen• Liam Anderson• Brandon Nguyen• Bav Patel• Steven Luyapan• Sabrina Calzada• Wyatt Lauman Pasadena’s ‘626 Day’ Aims to Celebrate City, Boost Local Economy Subscribe Make a comment faithfernandez More » ShareTweetShare on Google+Pin on PinterestSend with WhatsApp,PCC – EducationVirtual Schools PasadenaDarrell Done EducationHomes Solve Community/Gov/Pub SafetyPASADENA EVENTS & ACTIVITIES CALENDARClick here for Movie Showtimes Name (required)  Mail (required) (not be published)  Website  Home of the Week: Unique Pasadena Home Located on Madeline Drive, Pasadena 15 recommended0 commentsShareShareTweetSharePin it EVENTS & ENTERTAINMENT | FOOD & DRINK | THE ARTS | REAL ESTATE | HOME & GARDEN | WELLNESS | SOCIAL SCENE | GETAWAYS | PARENTS & KIDScenter_img Top of the News Business News Community News First Heatwave Expected Next Week Pasadena Will Allow Vaccinated People to Go Without Masks in Most Settings Starting on Tuesday More Cool Stuff center column 4 The RoboLancers: La Salle High School Robotics Team 2009 -2013 Article and Photos courtesy of LA SALLE HIGH SCHOOL Published on Monday, May 6, 2013 | 11:26 am HerbeautyKate Beckinsale Was Shamed For Being “Too Old” To Wear A BikiniHerbeautyHerbeautyHerbeautyNutritional Strategies To Ease AnxietyHerbeautyHerbeautyHerbeautyCostume That Makes Actresses Beneath Practically UnrecognizableHerbeautyHerbeautyHerbeautyGet Rid Of Unwanted Body Fat By Eating The Right FoodsHerbeautyHerbeautyHerbeautyThis Trend Looks Kind Of Cool!HerbeautyHerbeautyHerbeauty8 Easy Exotic Meals Anyone Can MakeHerbeautyHerbeauty Your email address will not be published.
